XML Developer
Duties and Responsibilities

We currently have a need for a senior full-time XML developer. We are particularly interested in candidates having significant experience in style sheet development and print composition using ArborText technologies.

Required Skills
  • Strong experience with XML technologies (XML, XLST, XPath, XQuery, XSL-FO)
  • Experience with print composition of XML content, preferably by using ArborText technologies (ArborText Styler, ArborText Publishing Engine)
  • XML DTD/Schema development experience
  • ArborText Editor customization (ACL) experience
  • Above agerage attention to detail
  • Self-driven, able to work alone as well as within a team environment
Additional Desired Skills
  • Conversion scripting experience is highly desirable
  • Java development experience is a plus
Java J2EE Developer
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with an agile team of software engineers to implement custom content management and delivery applications
  • Assist in developing functional and technical design specifications
  • Opportunity for technical leadership and mentoring responsibilities
Required Skills
  • 3+ years Java experience
  • Some J2EE/JBoss/EJB3 experience
  • Experienced with XML technologies (XML, XSLT, XML Schema, XQuery, dom4j)
  • Experience developing and consuming Web Services
  • Experienced with JUnit and test-driven development
  • Good problem analysis and writing skills
  • Self-driven, able to work alone as well as within a team environment
Additional Desired Skills
  • General web development experience using HTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript
  • Relational database and SQL knowledge/experience using MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or other RDBMS
  • Some Swing experience is desirable
  • Experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET helpful but not required
Education
  • No degree required, but C.S., I.S. degree or work towards such is desirable
Java UI Developer
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with an agile team of software engineers to implement custom content management and delivery applications
  • Assist in developing functional and technical design specifications
  • Opportunity for technical leadership and mentoring responsibilities
Required Skills
  • 3+ years Java experience
  • Experience developing GUIs in Swing
  • Experienced and comfortable with iterative UI design
  • Experienced with XML technologies (XML, XSLT, XML Schema, XQuery, dom4j)
  • Experience with one or more XML authoring systems is helpful (Arbortext, XMeTal, etc.)
  • Experience with XSL-FO and FO processors (e.g. Antenna House, Arbortext PE, etc.) is helpful
  • General web development experience using HTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, JavaScript
  • Good problem analysis and writing skills
  • Self-driven, able to work alone as well as within a team environment
Additional Desired Skills
  • Experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET helpful but not required
Education
